In winning the Hudson Plumbing Benchmark 84 Handicap over 1500m at Rosehill today, Viva Las displayed that she has come of age. Now a 4YO mare with two good trials and a slashing, yet unlucky first up run behind her you can sense that this preparation will be the mare's time to shine. John O'Shea has been patient with the mare who has always displayed the ability necessary to win good races with todays victory taking her record to an impressive four victories and a further three placings from her sixteen career starts and earnings just shy of $150,000.
