The old marvel of Blue Gum Farm in Umatilla and Champion Trainer Gai Waterhouse combined for a unique style of firsts today. Gai was looking for her first 2YO winner for the 2010-2011 season and Umatilla was having his first 2YO runner of the season. The result, a lovely Gooree Park homebred named Shared Reflections who saluted in the Outback Jacks Bar & Grill Maiden over 1000m at Warwick Farm.

There was strong support for Shared Reflections who started the $3.25 favourite, whose win was made all the more impressive after missing the kick over the 1000m dash. Tim Clark's comments after the race were extremely encouraging and with Gai confirming that the Blue Diamond was still in her thoughts we look forward to her progression towards the $1 million feature.
