Mares already tested in foal include the Group 1 winning sprinter STELLA CADENTE; the Port Adelaide Cup heroine TINGIRANA; ROSA’S WISH, Listed placed herself and the dam of 2009 stakes winner OCCIDENTALIS; Group 3 winner TICKET TO ROME; the Listed winner PERSONAL ENSIGN and CRYSTAL SPRITE, the dam of CARRARA.

Add to this the likes of Red Anchor Stakes (Gr 3) winner CORTON CHARLEMAGNE, the VRC Matron Stakes (Gr 3) winner UMBER; Weekend Surprise, the dam of Group winner DAN BARONESS; Spiner Tingler, the dam of SATIN ROBES and you can see that the market is confirming Elvstroem’s bright start at stud with a quality book of mares.

Both the dams of Carrara and Viking Legend will be back to Elvstroem this season and with a raft of promising three-year-olds in the wings, Elvstroem’s stocks can only rise higher as the season progresses.
