Judy and Durham Ritchie are good supporters of Blue Gum Farm so we are delighted to see them enjoy stakes success as beeders with She’s Got Gears, winner of the Ottowa Stakes (Listed) at Flemington on Melbourne Cup day.

She’s Got Gear’s dam Last Minute boasts plenty of Blue Gum connections, being conceived here on the farm by Encosta de Lago out of a Last Tycoon (Ire) mare.

Last Minute is on farm now with a very nice filly at foot by Churchill Downs having foaled an excellent colt by Churchill Downs in 2008 who looks a star in the making for the sale ring. She has been covered again by Churchill Downs, whose stock are impressing the toughest judges with their size, substance and character.
