NO BANNER - ELVSTROEM IS HERE

27 July 2010

Along with the rest of Australia we cheered when Elsvstroem's close relative Starspandledbanner charged to Group 1 success at Royal Ascot and Newmarket.

With the news that Starspangledbanner is to remain in the Northern Hemisphere and miss the 2010 Australian breeding season then breeders are fortunate to have a proven Group-1 sire like Elvstroem available.

Starspangledbanner is a great grandson of Danehill and has Olympic Aim as his third-dam while Elvstroem is by Danehill with Olympic Aim as his granddam.

The leading second-crop sire in Victoria this season, Elvstroem's offspring are running with real gusto of late. The 5-time Group 1 winner has metropoloitan winners Viva Las, Dorsoduro and last week saw Rockabilly Kid win impressively in Brisbane.

> Elvstroem's figures bear close scrutiny too.

> He has a stakeswinning 2yo from each of his crops to race

> He has Group 1 performers

> He has both male and female stakes-performers

> He has 181 2yo's to race for him in the 2010/11 season

> AND HIS FEE IN 2010 IS JUST $16,500

So good luck in the Breeders' Cup Starspangledbanner, we'll be cheering for you.
