Having started the season with a stakes double for star colt Carrara, Elvstroem’s offspring have enjoyed a winning period with three winners in the past eight days.

Don Jose (3 c Carmenesque), Crossley (3 c Prenuptial) and then Iquit (3 c Masseera) all broke their Maidens impressively to make it four winners already in the new season.

Crossley has pulled up well from his win at Seymour with trainer Mick Price looking at a start in a Listed race next time out. Carrara is entered for the Stutt Stakes (Gr 2) on Friday night and is looking to make it three wins on the trot while Don Jose is headed towards the Herald Vase and then the Victoria Derby.
