Cox Plate bound Sincero produced a devastating return to racing in Sydney on Saturday taking out the Group 3 Tattersalls Club Tramway Handicap at Warwick Farm.
First up after his Stradbroke Handicap triumph the four year old son of Umatilla (NZ) displayed a bit more early gate speed than usual to sit just in behind the leaders for permanent jockey Chris O'Brien. Upon straightening for home he travelled up under his own steam to collar the leaders and sprint clear for what was the geldings tenth win from only fourteen starts.
For his group of connections what a ride it has been so far with the 2009 Classic Yearling Sale Graduate being knocked down for $8,000. With some $1,235,225 now in earnings and the prospect of so much more this son of Umatilla continues his sires great legacy of producing top class, durable gallopers.Back
