As Bill Lawry would say, "It's all happening here" and it most certainly is. We now have our first foals of the 2011 season greeting us, bookings are in full swing and importantly our sires are firing.

We have highlighted to our readers on numerous occassions over the past few months the stirling job Elvstroem has been doing generating winners galore in the conluding months of the 2010-2011 racing season.

To kick off the 2011-2012 racing season it has been Churchill Downs who has left the gates in a rush. Yesterday at Bendigo, Spelldancer (3YO F x Cantrip) saluted for the Ellerton-Zahra stable over 1600m and then today the highly promising Whisper Downs (3YO G x Gur) won most impressively first up at Geelong over the 1100m. This highly talented son of Churchill Downs is trained locally by Champion Trainer David Hayes whom is now based out of Euroa like our good selves. Whisper Downs is also owned by long time client and friends Kevin Heffernan and his son and gathering by jockey Steven Arnold's glowing praise we look forward to seeing him progress throughout the spring of 2011.

Both Elvstroem and Churchill Downs stand in 2011 @ $8,800 (Incl GST)
