The month of June has been an extremely busy one on many fronts, none more so than for Elvstroem. In the past month he has had some most impressive performances all around Australia as well as Macau. Since the 27th May 2011 he has had some 17 Individual Winners across all sorts of distances and varying locations, Morphetville, Belmont, Kilmore, Geelong, Kembla Grange, Hawkesbury, Ballarat, Echuca, Mornington.

Probably one of the most exciting parts of that past month has been the four 2YO winners he has produced. Only yesterday at Echuca, Patrick Payne took the raps off Tale of the Sea (2YO C Elvstroem x Literature) who won most impressively by 4 1/2 lengths over 1200m. This was on the back of Mark Kavanagh producing Instalment (2YO C Elvstroem x Brightcut) at Ballarat whom saluted impressively over 1000m last Thursday. In addition to this in Macau, Sure Win (2YO G Elvstroem x Pharoah's Spirit) has won his last two starts, defeating the older horses on both occassions in slashing style.

Need we say anything more, Elvstroem is a terrific individual who himself won 5 Group 1 races and amassed some $5.8 Million in earnings and his progeny globally have now amassed some $4.7 Million in earnings. In 2011 he stands at $8,800, which in looking at all of the above represents tremendous value.
