RED ARROW STRAIGHT TO

  BLUEGUMFARM

Victoria’s Blue Gum Farm has secured an interest in the magnificently bred and well performed Red Arrow to join its stallion roster this season.

Red Arrow truly does have a wonderful pedigree. He is by the ultra successful sire and sire of sires Red Ransom, from the multiple Group One winner Lady Jakeo by Last Tycoon.

Red Ransom is seen as the perfect outcross for Australia’s Northern Dancer saturated broodmare band. The results speak for themselves with the performances of Typhoon Tracy, Onemorenomore, Duporth, All American, Red Dazzler, Romneya, etc. Of particular interest is the fact that Red Arrow is bred on exactly the same Red Ransom – Last Tycoon cross as Typhoon Tracy and Onemorenomore. Red Ransom’s sire sons in Australia include the Group one producers Charge Forward and Domesday.

Red Arrow’s dam, Lady Jakeo, won the Blue Diamond Stakes and trained on to win the Australia Stakes, both at Group One level. This is a female family littered with top Two Year Olds, including Golden Slipper and Blue Diamond performers, and leading sprinters. With the influence of leading Australian broodmare sires Last Tycoon, Lunchtime, Sostenuto and Pipe Of Peace working in this pedigree, it is easy to understand where the success comes from.

Blue Gum Farm’s Philip Campbell is delighted to have Red Arrow joining their stallion roster. “Red Arrow is a fine looking stallion with size, strength, length and plenty of bone about him. I can see him producing a very pleasing physical style of horse and if he also passes on his own amazing temperament, he will be a long way down the path to success. He has a pedigree that excites and was able to show the sort of racetrack ability that the pedigree suggests he would have. We are very excited to have him joining us.”

Red Arrow’s service fee has been set at $6,600.

Release ends.
