latest News on Blue Gum Farm
The progeny of Blue Gum Farm stalwart Turffontein continue on their winning way with eight individual winners in the last two weeks. These include last Saturday’s $110,000 Catanachs Jewellers Gold Bracelet winner Give Us A Go, Peter Morgan’s consistent mare Gold Fontein who won at Sandown and the Moonee Valley winner Blue Jangles who has subsequently won again at Albury on Albury Gold Cup day.
On the back of his continued good racetrack results, Turffontein’s yearlings have again sold very well this year with his colts selling to $145,000 and his fillies selling to $115,000. Pictured is his filly out of Personal Ensign, making her a full sister to Group Two winner Fontiton, who was purchased at the recent Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale by leading trainer Greg Eurell for $115,000. These sorts of sales indicate that the winners will just continue to come for this ultra consistent stallion.Back
