The Inglis Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale sees the continuation of selling of the first crop of Red Arrow. A beautifully bred son Red Ransom and Lady Jakeo, Red Arrow has already had three yearlings sell this year at an average of just over $41,600.
At the recent Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale, respected judge Adrian Hancock purchased a lovely bay colt out of Final Act for $50,000 on behalf of leading trainer David Jolly. At the same sale Gerald Ryan parted with $42,500 for the bay colt out of Danehill mare Raise A Dane. What a fantastic endorsement for a young stallion to have trainers of this calibre pursuing the stock! Red Arrow's third seller so far this year was at the Inglis Classic Sale where his brown colt out of Poetique made $32,500.
At the upcoming Melbourne Premier Sale, Red Arrow has another six yearlings catalogued. Five of them are being sold by Blue Gum Farm on behalf of Trevannah. These include lot 119, a bay/brown colt out of Treasure Box (pictured). Lot 342, a grey colt out of Dewamar making him a half brother to Group One winners St Basil and Pantani. Lot 511, a bay/brown filly out of Marley and Me. Lot 539, a bay colt out of Monte Fantastic and lot 720, a bay filly (first foal) out of former smart race mare Lady Branax. Phoenix Broodmare Farm as agent are also selling a Red Arrow colt at this sale. He is lot 155, the bay colt out of former Group performer Youthful High.
