Spring Has Sprung at Blue Gum

One of the features of the North East of Victoria is the quality of the land. However tough a dry summer can be, the rejuvenation process never ceases to amaze and this year is no exception. In contrast to many areas of Victoria and indeed the Hunter Valley of NSW, Blue Gum Farm currently enjoys the luxury of rainfall, days of sunshine and quality pasture.

Understandably, all the horses on the farm right now are showing the benefits of these conditions and we could not be happier. Bob Howie and his team work tirelessly on maintaining Blue Gum as a premier piece of fertile ground as anyone that comes to visit us this Spring will see for themselves.

With such abundant feed on the ground and our own feeding programme in place, the horses on Blue Gum are in the best possible position to get in-foal and we pride ourselves on being able to send mares home in the best possible condition.

Astronomer Royal is safely here and working as of course are; Elvstroem, Churchill Downs and Umatilla. The time is ripe to take advantage of the optimum conditions at Blue Gum Farm and get your mare in-foal without having to wait on anything.
